One of the ice-water swimmers on the Chinese bank of the Amur River is being photographed in the water. The trench in the ice must be maintained every day. It is covered with boards when no one is swimming. Then the thin layer of ice that has formed is broken before the floating pieces of ice are removed with a net. Then one immerses oneself.
